Snack: Salsa Guacamole

Ingredients
- 4 ripe avocados, halved and pit removed
- ½ cup tomato salsa
- 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon cumin powder (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Directions for Preparation
- Scoop out the soft inside of the avocado in a bowl.
- Add the salsa and mash until almost smooth.
- Stir in the rest of the ingredients.
An avocado is ripe when it is a darker green and will give a little when squeezed. If you can’t find ripe avocados, put firm avocados in a bag with a few apples. The apples release a gas that speed up the ripening process.
