This rainbow sprinkle cake tastes like fun! It is the perfect kid’s birthday party cake that is moist, delicious, and colorful.

Ingredients

  • 1 box (about 430 grams) rainbow sprinkle cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup canned pineapple, drained*
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup rainbow sprinkles

Directions for Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees °F.  
  2. Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  3.  Beat with a mixer on medium speed or beat by hand for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into a greased baking pan.
  5. Follow the package directions on how long to bake the cake depending on the type of baking pan chosen.
  6. Let cool completely before frosting with whipped cream topped with more sprinkles.

    * If canned crushed pineapple is not available, chop canned pineapple tidbits into smaller pieces.
