Maple syrup cooked with fatty fish like char, trout or salmon is the perfect combination. This is a delicious and easy recipe with ingredients you have in your cupboard.
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 char, trout, or salmon filets
Directions for Preparation
- In a large bowl, stir together the first 3 ingredients.
- Gently add in the fish. Gently stir until the fish filets are coated.
- Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to marinate, stirring halfway though.
- Preheat the oven to 400 ° F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Place the fish on the cookie sheet and bake salmon uncovered until flesh easily flakes with a fork, about 20 minutes.
