Ingredients
Country gravy, also called sawmill gravy or white gravy, is a sauce that can be served over meatballs, pork chops and oven baked chicken.
- 1 package brown gravy
- 1 can (354 mL) evaporated milk
Directions for Preparation
- In a saucepan, add the brown gravy mixture.
- The package directions will suggest adding a certain amount of cold water. Replace the water with evaporated milk.
- Slowly add the evaporated milk to the dry powder stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- Stir until smooth.
- Slowly heat the saucepan on medium heat. When the mixture begins to thicken, stir constantly until thickened.
- Serve right away. Enjoy!
